Prescription Sunglasses
For those of our customers requiring prescription eyewear iOptix have a wide range of prescription glasses and sunglasses to suit you, regardless of age, gender, size or activity. Prescription sunglasses from all of the top brands such as Adidas, Bolle, Cebe, Rudy Project, Oakley, Salice, Nike and many more.
We will take the information provided by your optician (via you the customer) and produce prescription glasses for you. We do not accept responsibility for incorrectly entered prescriptions.
If you don't have your prescription your optician should make it available to you but there may be a charge. Alternatively, you will need to go to your local optician and have your eyes tested. Following the eye test, your optician should make a copy of your prescription available and you are not obliged to purchase your sunglasses from them. Please ask your optician to include your PD (pupillary distance) measurement in your prescription.

When viewing the website and product page you will be given (where applicable) the option to purchase with prescription. Once you have clicked 'with prescription' you will then be given options on what sort of prescription lenses to choose. We offer direct Rx and insert Rx (note not all options apply to all frames and styles) Direct Rx is where the prescription lens is fitted straight into the frame like conventional sunglasses and glasses and insert Rx is where you have an easily removable insert which sits behind the glasses.
Many of the styles can be glazed to a bi-focal prescription (for an extra charge) however we unfortunately cannot glaze a vari-focal, due to the fact these need to be fitted and measured in situ with an experienced optician in front of you.
