Football is an extremely physical sport and as such the eyewear you choose to play football in really does need to be carefully selected whether it is professionally or just with friends for a weekend kick about.

Football is a physical contact sport, and none of the products we stock or offer to you are 100% indestructible or unbreakable, they are what we consider to be the best football glasses and the best prescription football glasses.

The most protective styles are the Rec Specs Maxx range of glasses, which we have children’s sports glasses and adults sports glasses and the Leader Zoom glasses, which have all surpassed the ASTM F803 US standard for football, squash, tennis, handball, racquetball and paddleball. All of the frames listed also meet the strictest requirements for any other active sports where eye injury is common, the lenses are all securely fixed into the frames so under extreme impact will still remain in one piece.

The rec Specs and Zoom glasses are all what we refer to as direct glaze which means the prescription lenses goes straight in to the frame. Other styles such as the popular Evil Eye Explorer take a prescription insert.

We recommend a bottle of zero fog being purchased along with your prescription football glasses to prevent fogging up on the pitch or field.
